At Lakeview Dental Design, Drs. Nick Matthews and Preston White don’t believe in just
helping patients feel better about their smiles. We strive to create an experience that
changes the mindset and outlook people have about visiting the dentist’s office. We
offer world-class, comprehensive, in-office dental care. We deliver top-of-the-line
customer service, greater affordability, and added convenience that cannot be found
anywhere else. Everything we do at Lakeview Dental Design is done with great care.
We are intentional about our time, making sure that you and your loved ones have all
the information you need to make a well-informed decision. We respect your time and
money, and this is evident by the way you will be treated when visiting our team. You
can expect that when we meet with you, we will not only go over the clinical side of
treatment but also take the time to ensure that the look and feel meet your unique
needs. Instead of making you feel as if you must empty your wallet each time you visit
the dentist’s office, we will welcome your dental insurance plan. As an in-network dentist
with an array of companies, we are pleased to maximize benefits and help you save. If
you are not enrolled in a private dental insurance plan, you can sign up for our in-house

Nick Matthews
Dr. Matthews decided he was going to be a dentist when he was junior high. His local
small-town dentist sparked his interest and took him under his wing. As a kid, Dr.
Matthews would ask lots of questions, watch his local dentist work, and this in turn
sparked a lifelong passion for the field. He is a graduate of Drury University, in
Springfield, and completed his dental degree at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
He graduated with honors with an emphasis in Endodontics. He also received special
recognition for excellence in Prosthodontics. Since then, he has owned and operated
several practices. He’s also trained all over the country in continuing education and
even internationally. This includes a year-long mini-residency at the McCracken Institute
in Birmingham, which featured specialized training in dental implants and oral surgery.
Today, he is a member of the Pierre Fauchard Academy, the American Dental
Association, and the Missouri Dental Association. Dr. Matthews and his wife Alison have
two boys, Levi and Luke. Together, they are an extremely active and “outdoorsy” family!
They love hunting, fishing, traveling, camping, and playing nearly every sport. As for
more personal hobbies, he runs a small farm in his spare time and is an avid fly
fisherman.

Preston White
Dr. Preston White grew up in Hutchinson, Kansas, before graduating from Wichita State University in 2007. In 2012, Dr. Preston graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry with many honors, including high honors in Oral Surgery. Dedicated to his education, Dr. Preston graduated Magna Cum Laude from dental school.
After completion of his four-year dental degree, Dr. Preston received additional training in advanced and specialized dental procedures such as complex root canal therapy, surgical extractions, implant placement and restoration, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry in a General Practice Residency at Truman Lakewood Hospital.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Missouri Dental Association, and the Greater Springfield Dental Society.
Dr. White loves the outdoors and spending time with his children.

Cameron Robertson
Dr. Cameron Robertson grew up in this community and is grateful to now be back home providing care at Lakeview Dental Design. Inspired by his cousin and mentor, Dr. Matthews, Cameron developed a passion for dentistry early on and pursued it as his life’s work. He is dedicated to continued excellence, staying current with the latest techniques and treatments to ensure each patient receives personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable environment. Dr. Robertson takes great pride in serving the community that shaped him and finds it especially meaningful to care for local families and neighbors. Outside the office, he recently started a family of his own and is a proud new father to a baby girl, an experience that has deepened his appreciation for building lasting, family-centered relationships in his practice.
